Throughout this year, the Early Careers Forum (ECF) have been hosting a series of virtual lunchtime sessions under the umbrella phrase “Systems Engineer in a Year” (SEiaY). In these sessions, we have discussed various Systems Engineering techniques and specialisms such as requirements engineering, systems thinking and much more. It has been a great learning opportunity to go back to the foundational elements that make up the SE discipline. There was also the opportunity to explore SE within the rail domain, accomplished through our summer event which was hosted by the Birmingham Centre for Railway Research and Education (BCRRE).
For the second year running, we are holding the Annual ECF Workshop at ASEC! Expect interactive activities as we wrap up the finale of SEiaY (no prior attendance required!) and make the most of the opportunity to experience aspects of the wider conference as ECF members!
More details to be released in the coming weeks.
